A/V SYSTEM INSTALLATION
AND TRAINING

As the technical director of Yorkminster Presbyterian Church, I have had the privilege to help develop an audio system and stream team that prioritizes accessibility and audibility and can be run by volunteers and professionals alike. I've implemented similar systems for First United Methodist Church, Stone House Presbyterian Church, Grafton High School Marching Band, and many more. Between training volunteers to run professional equipment and managing dozens of professionals on set, I am comfortable serving a wide array of A/V environments and teams.

I design, install, and document sound systems based around existing equipment, the needs of my clients, and the limitations of space and budget. You can expect a very detailed document noting all of the ins and outs of your setup, any additional equipment purchases I recommend, as well as a startup guide for training volunteers. Additionally, I am available for in-person training where I walk you through your new sound system and all of its functionality. Feel free to reach out for more information via the contact page.

My rate is $500 a day and $250 for a half day. For reference, I can typically complete an installation for a 60-100 member house of worship congregation in 2-3 full days.

ACOUSTICAL TREATMENT

Every sound system must be installed in a space, and, unfortunately, not every space is perfectly suited for what you need it for. Whether it's obnoxious hissing noises in your church's stream or the sound of your upstairs neighbors in your apartment's home studio, I can help alleviate some of the pain that unwanted thumps, echoes, and pops cause. I offer a myriad of assessment, design, and measurement services for solving your acoustical problems.

By creating detailed measurements of your space, I can manipulate your environment to best suit your acoustical needs. Sometimes that involves repositioning the sound system, sometimes that means custom fabricated acoustic panels, and sometimes that means building a separate room within a room. By taking a scientific approach to your acoustical problems, we can find a solution that works for you.

I'm currently pursuing a Master's of Engineering in Acoustics at Penn State, so expect this portion of my site to grow as I learn more and build my business.
